Accessibility statement
This site was built so that everyone can read it and reach me through it, on any device and in whatever way they use a computer.
Commitment
I see accessibility as part of the legal service itself. This site was designed and built to comply with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and the Accessibility to Service Regulations, and with the Israeli standard for web content accessibility at level AA. The site is tested and improved on an ongoing basis. If you run into a problem, I'd like to hear about it and fix it.
Adjustments made
- Contrast: text and background colors are chosen so regular text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, and large text at least 3:1, including on the dark backgrounds.
- Keyboard navigation: every link, button, the menu, the accordion, and the form can all be operated by keyboard alone, and there's a skip-to-content link.
- Focus states: every interactive element has a clear, visible focus indicator in a color that contrasts with the background.
- Touch target size: every button and link is at least 44 pixels tall on a phone.
- Reduced motion: anyone whose device is set to reduce motion gets the site without animations, in a static, readable state.
- Alt text: every meaningful image has a text description, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Heading structure: every page has one main heading, and headings follow a consistent hierarchy that allows quick navigation with a screen reader.
- Text size: text on the site is never smaller than 14 pixels, and you can enlarge it in the browser without breaking the layout. One exception: the illustration on the home page, which draws documents at a reduced scale. It is hidden from screen readers, and everything it says is also written in the full-size copy beside it.
